A Legend Retires: please post your comments below
November 2, 2008
Dear Valued Customers & Long Time Friends,
The legendary Café Allegro will be retiring. Our last day was Saturday, November 1, 2008.
After 22 years of earning the reputation as one of Pittsburgh’s BEST OVERALL RESTAURANTS, we have decided to wind down our operation and pursue other personal and professional interests.
All good things must come to an end, and we have had a wonderful time elevating the culinary culture of Pittsburgh, while meeting and becoming friends with so many great people like you.
We have valued your patronage to us over the past 22 years.
Café Allegro was started on the foundation of providing great food, personalized service and exceptional value for our customers. We deeply respect and appreciate our customers, employees and vendor partners. We have even enjoyed our competitors and their quality operations.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for participating in this journey with us. We shared many great moments and memories that we will cherish forever.
Post your best story or memory of Café Allegro below. We would like to relive it with you and share it with our customers and friends as well.
Your friends,
Chef Joe Nolan, Antoinette Cardamone & the entire Café Allegro “Family”
